We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Site Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient execution of construction projects by developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced planning software such as Primavera P6 Analyse project timelines, resources, and dependencies to identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate information for schedule updates Monitor project progress and report variances between planned and actual performance Prepare and present periodic progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential risks Conduct resource analysis and optimisation to ensure efficient utilisation of manpower and equipment Assist in the development of recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes Maintain accurate records of all planning-related documents and revisions Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum 12 years of experience in planning engineering for mixed-use building developments Proven track record of successful project delivery in large-scale construction projects Advanced proficiency in project planning and scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Strong knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and AutoCAD Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite In-depth knowledge of mixed-use building development processes and regulations Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia Understanding of sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
