Radiology Technique Specialist-Riyadh-(207268)

Perform diagnostic radiographs, daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room, daily maintenance of x-ray film processor and handles processing of radiology request, radiology reports and x-ray films and ensures strict compliance with any rules or regulations that apply to the clinic. Accountabilities Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions. Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Work Environment Indoors : 100% Outdoors  : 0% Working Days   : 6 Working Days Days off : 1 Days Off Working Hours  : 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Applied medical science – Radiology section Experience: 2 years of practical experience following graduation. Computer Skills: Office & Health Information System Languages: English and Arabic (fluent speaking and writing)
