• Act as the Centre of Excellence providing expert support to project delivery teams in all aspects of quantity surveying, including measurement and pricing. • Ensure that quantity surveying services adhere to established standards and align with international industry best practices. • Serve as the key escalation point for complex technical quantity surveying issues. • Provide functional oversight and guidance to in-house Quantity Surveyors, particularly those specializing in Furniture and Equipment (F&E). • Review and approve cost submissions from Project Management Consultants (PMC) and outsourced consultants. • Assess and approve costing for value engineering proposals to optimize project costs. • Provide technical approval on contract variations related to measurement and cost in coordination with Administration & Procurement (A&P) teams. • Approve interim payment certificates, ensuring compliance and coordination with A&P. Education Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying within engineering and construction environments. Skills Project management and quality control expertise. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Proficient in risk, opportunity, and issue management. Knowledge of building and infrastructure maintenance. Strong experience in procurement and contract management. Competency in budgeting, cost control, financial planning, and forecasting. Capability in performance monitoring and management.
