A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and infection. Accountabilities Decontamination of surgical and medical instruments. Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures. Ensure hospitals comply with regulations, and work to protect their patients from any infection. Assembling medical equipment. Testing and performing quality control checks routinely to make sure that it’s running properly.  Performing equipment inventory and restock supplies when needed. Maintaining accurate sterilization records. Keeping tools organized, sorting mismatched sets of instruments and making them available for physicians in a timely manner. The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need. Work Environment Indoors                      : 100% Outdoors                   : 0% Working Days           : 6 Working Days Days off                     : 1 Day Off Working Hours          : 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department. Job Requirement Education   Bachelor's degree in related specialization (chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry) Professional Accreditation Certificate authorized from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Experience Fresh Graduate Computer Skills Office Languages Arabic English
