Job summary The jobholder is responsible for supporting the Projects Program Manager in day-to-day project execution duties. Main Responsibilities:- Supporting the contract in completion of planned project activities.- Monitor project progress and ensure all activities are completed in the required timeline.- Ensure Contractor obtains all required approvals for all project documentation.- Manage all project internal and external interfaces.- Update and review progress on a weekly basis and highlight areas of concern that require intervention.- Prepare and issue weekly progress reports for projects.- Prepare periodic slides for executive management presentation.Project management support- Support Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project review.- Compile inputs to prepare project planning reports.Retrofit implementation support- Support in supervising the ESCOs responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of projects.- Support in the Project Manager in managing the relationship with the Government entity.Post-retrofit support- Support the supervision of O&M services provided.- Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the performance guarantees are satisfied.- Liaise with Finance / Legal to resolve any issues. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field • CEM / CMVP certification is preferred. • SEC designer or installer solar certification is preferred. Experience & Skills • Minimum of 5 years in a project management role with responsibility for the performance of contractors; preferably with retrofit experience within ESCO (or EPC) industry experience • Interpersonal: Professional proficiency of English required; fluency in Arabic is a must; effective communication skills (written and verbal); effective time management skills; ability to manage concurrent projects • Technical: Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and potential savings
